I was just practicing some shading techniques from an art fundamental book I just got at Indigo and I came up with this portrait of NBA superstar Lebron James. Over the years I would always draw cartoons or paint abstract things so this is my first shot at a realistic looking portrait. I have some work to do but I'm happy with the way it turned out. I think I'm going to do something crazy to it so I decided to document the raw sketch to share before I experiment some more with it.
